The answer is Carbon Dioxide Gas in the atmosphere. Study Island's explanation is," In photosynthesis reactions, carbon dioxide from the atmosphere is the source of carbon. The carbon from the carbon dioxide becomes part of the glucose molecules produced by the reaction."
