King Henry II was the first Plantagenet King of England. He reigned from 1154 to 1189. King Henry II was also known as Henry Curtmantle, Henry FitzEmpress and Henry Plantagenet. Geoffrey of Anjou and Matilda, the daughter of King Henry I, were Henry II's parents.
