The 70 degree outside angle on the top triangle is equal tot he sun of the two opposite indie angles.
One of the opposite inside angles is given as 20, so the other inside angle is 70 - 20 = 50 degrees.
Angle 1 and that angle are vertical angles, which mean they are the same.
Angle 1 = 50 degrees.
