Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti were two Italian immigrants, workers and anarchists, who were tried, sentenced and executed by electrocution on August 23, 1927 in Massachusetts for the alleged armed robbery and murder of two people in 1920 in South Braintree, Massachusetts.
