Such an example is The Djibouti Code of Conduct made by the UK government in 2009, which helped Indian Ocean Trade by preventing and repressing armed robbery against ships. A total of 20 countries have signed the document and committed to ensure better marine protection and benefits concerning piracy and armed robbery in the Western Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden.
