Take notes as you study.

Always re-read anything that seems to confuse you at all.

Think about the end points and the start points of anything you're trying to learn. (Helps with memorizing)

Read over it a few times, it helps more than you think, studies show studying before night time helps you memorize it better because it stays in your brain the whole time, do this if the test is next morning!
