point of view offers different perspectives (opinions, feelings, etc.) of different people. this way, the audience is given a multitude of specific way of seeing the story. it impacts a readers interpretation in that they connect to characters certain ways (i.e. if the narrator dislikes someone, even for no reason, you may be more inclined to like that character).
