a-2b=2.........(1)

a+b=2(b+3)

a+b=2b+6

a-b=6.......(2)

a-2b= 2

a-b= 6

Eliminate y

multiply (1)by -1

Multiply (2) by 2

-a+2b=-2

2a-2b=12

Add the two equations

a = 10

plug value of a in (1)

1a +-2b=2

10+-2b=2

-2b =2

-2b =-8

b=4.00

Hope this helped:)
