f(x) = 3x² - 5x + 2

g(x) = 4x - 6

f(x) + g(x)

(3x²- 5x + 2) + (4x - 6)

3x² - 5x + 2 + 4x - 6

3x²- 5x + 4x + 2 - 6

3x² - x - 4
