Well there were some negative and positive results. Some of the positive things were that they gained crops, animals, fabrics, and spices. The negative includes that the majority of them died from the diseases that the spaniards brought over, some were taken back to spain as property, spaniards stole from them, and food stocks were lowered due to the generosity of the Taino people towards the spaniards
