Hello!

Explanation:

Slope-intercept form: → [tex]y=mx+b[/tex]

m: represents the slope and is constant.

b: represents the y-intercept.

You had to used their rise/run.

[tex]\frac{rise}{run}[/tex]

[tex]rise=y^2-y^1[/tex]

[tex]run=x^2-x^1[/tex]

[tex]x^1,y^1=(2,0)[/tex]

[tex]x^2,y^2=(0,-6)[/tex]

[tex]rise=y^2-y^1=-6-0=-6[/tex]

[tex]run=x^2-x^1=0-2=-2[/tex]

[tex]-6/-2=3[/tex]

So, therefore the slope is 3.

Hope this helps!
