One of the advantages for taxpayers of splitting the Juvenile courts into two sections is the saving in the taxpayers costs. If non violent offenders are not sent to prision, the tax payers save billions of dolars per year. On the other hand, young offenders are also benefited because they would have the opportunity to change their lives and to continue studying, working and being an active part of the society.
