Index - Lists words and page numbers where the words can be found
The index is found in the back of the text. In a Literature textbook the index lists the authors, titles, and key terms that the textbook contains. A Table of Contents is found at the beginning of a text. It contains a list of the different sections of the text and the page number each section begins on. A glossary contains a list of key vocabulary and terms defined in the text. The glossary also contains the definitions of these terms. The title page is found at the beginning of the text before the Table of Contents. It contains the title of the book and the author. The Appendix is made of any additional documents that are referred to in the text.
