1 4/8 + 6/8 + 1/8 = 1 11/8 = 2 3/8 total cups.
You can use the 3-cup and 4-cup mixing bowls because they will be large enough to fit all the ingredients in, whereas the 2-cup will not fit all of the ingredients. Hope this helped!
