Given

F a bag contains 10,500 ounces (oz) of sand

Find out  how many pounds (lb) does it contain.

To proof

As given in the question

F a bag contains sand = 10,500 ounces (oz)

1 pound = 16 ounces

[tex]1\ ounces =\frac{1}{16}\ pounds[/tex]

F a bag contains sand in the pounds

[tex]= \frac{10500\times1}{16}[/tex]

solving the above terms

we get

[tex]=\frac{10500}{16}[/tex]

solving the above

= 656.25 pounds

F a bag contains 656.25 pounds of sand

Hence proved
