Slope Formula - (y² - y¹) / (x² - x¹)

(1, 7)

x¹ = 1

y¹ = 7

(-4, -8)

x² = -4

y² = -8

-8 - 7 = -15

-4 - 1 = -5

Simplify - -15/-5

-15/5 = -3

Your answer is -3.
