The quotient of a number and -5, increased by 7 is

[tex] \dfrac{x}{-5}+7 [/tex]

This is at least one, so you have

[tex] \dfrac{x}{-5}+7\geq 1[/tex]

Subtract 7 from both sides:

[tex] \dfrac{x}{-5}\geq -6[/tex]

Multiply both sides by -5. Since this is a negative number, have to switch the inequality sign:

[tex] x \leq 30 [/tex]
