3y-2y-10=5y-22

y-10=5y-22

y=5y-10

-4y=-12

y=3

3y-(2*y)-(2*5)=5y-22

3y-2y-10= 5y-22

1y-10= 5y-22

1y-10-1y=5y-22-1y

-10= 4y-22

-10+22=4y

12= 4y
