Ronald was a Physicist and an Astronaut from NASA.He flew as a mission specialist on space shuttle flight crews.His first mission being STS 41B from Kennedy Space Centre ,Florida in 1984. And later on,he died during the launch of the Space Shuttle Challenger on mission STS 51-L .He was serving as one of the three mission specialist in his final flight.
