(f - g)(x) = - x - 15

note (f - g)(x) = f(x) - g(x)

= 2x - 6 - (3x + 9) = 2x - 6 - 3x - 9 = -x - 15

The solution of (f-g)(x) = -x-15 using subtraction of functions.

What is subtraction of functions?

To subtract two functions, subtract their outputs.

f(x) = 2x - 6

g(x) = 3x + 9

(f-g)(x) = 2x - 6 -3x - 9 = -x -15
