m = 4

First, distribute the -2. This gives you 5n+34=-2+14n.

Now you can subtract 5n from both sides. This gives you 34=-2+9n.

Now, add 2 to both sides. This gives you 36=9n.

Now, divide everything by 9. This gives you 4=n.
