Modernism
Modernism was the 19th and 20th century development across aspects of art. It was essentially avant-garde with artists’ original and experimental concepts, forms and methods. Modernism focused on creating new art for the future. Bertolt Brecht, Andre Antoine and Samuel Beckett were among the artists in the Modernist era.
