Consider two coordinate axes i.e X and Y.

Taking the altitude as Y Axes and horizontal distance as X Axes

Then we get the following points on X Axes as (`13000,0) and on Y axes as (0,600).

[tex]So, to find the slope of two points (x,y) & (p,q)

we use the formula= y -q/x-p

so slope of (13000,0) and (0,600) = 600 - 0/0-13000 =600/-13000

= 6/-130 = -3/65[/tex]
