During scientific hypothesis testing you'll have to follow these steps:
Form a hypothesis
Experiment, observate, test, etc.
Form a conclusion.
Not all scientists believe in the same way. Some prefer to test again after forming the conclusion, etc.
→ Note that if you refer to statistical hypothesis, things are a little different.
