You can just simplify the fraction 14/16 by dividing both the numerator and denominator by 2, which will leave you with the answer of 7/8.
If you really need 14/16 in decimal form (which I don't think you will, most equations allow you to have a fraction as an answer), then 14/16 = 0.875.
