The answer is 50/27 or 1 23/27 or approx 1.85185. Here is my work!
Multiply both sides by 10 : 20x + 6x = 50 - x
Collect the like terms: 20x + 6x = 50 - x
Move Variable to Left: 26x + x = 50
Collect like terms: 27x = 50
Divide both sides by 27: 50/27
