So the original formula is y = mx + b
m is the slope and b is the y intercept
Off the bat we can see that the y intercept(b) is 2. So we can cancel out B and C
Now this line isn't going down which means it is a positive line and not a negative line. Also It goes up by 2 and to the right by 1 which means the slope is 2.
y = 2x + 2
