We are given the hyp (20) and the opp side (4). Use the sine function:


opp 4

------ = sin y = --------- = 0.2

hyp 20


Now find y by using the inverse sine function: arcsin 0.2 = y.


y = 0.201 radians or 11.5 degrees.
