 1. You have the following exponential equation  given in the problem above:
 3.2+e^(6x)=54.2
 2. You must solve for e, as following:
 e^(6x)=54.2-3-2
 e^(6x)=51
 3. By applying ln, you obtain:
 ln(e)^(6x)=ln(51)
 6x=ln(51)
 x=ln(51)/6
 x=0.65
 Therefore, the answer is: x=0.65
