we know that
The angle starts from the positive x axis direction and goes in the anti-clockwise direction: 
so
angles between 0 and 90 degrees are in the I quadrant. 

angles between 90 and 180 degrees are in the II quadrant
angles between 180 and 270 degrees are in the III quadrant
angles between 270 and 360 degrees are in the IV quadrant

angle 118 degrees It is between 90 and 180 degrees

therefore

the answer is
II quadrant
