Inclusive language refers to language and phrasing that avoids using certain words and phrases that might exclude certain people or groups. An example of inclusive language is using the word "humankind" instead of "mankind", since the word "mankind" excludes women. While the statement "despite progress in recent years, homosexuals still face many forms of discrimination" does not particularly exclude any groups, it is not the best example of inclusive language.
