We have 2( x^2 + 5x + 6) ÷ (x + 3) = 2(x^2 + 3x + 2x + 6) ÷ (x + 3) = 2[ x( x + 3) + 2( x + 3)] = 2( x+ 3 )( x + 2 ) ÷ ( x + 3 ) = 2( x + 2 ) = 2x + 4.
