Aphasia
Aphasia is a communication disorder that occurs due to damage
or injury to language parts of the brain. Aphasia affects an individual’s ability
to use or understand words but it does not impair one's intelligence. This disorder occurs mostly in older adults especially those who
have had a stroke.
