Allen's rule is an eco-geographical rule formulated by Joel Asaph Allen in 1877.
According to Allen's rule, in a hot climate, the individual's arms and legs should be:
longer. Their legs, fingers, and toes are longer and slender.
Animals adapted to cold climates have shorter limbs and body appendages than animals adapted to warm climates.
