Whenever you encounter rhetoric or use rhetorical techniques to compose a media piece, always consider who the audience is. You always want to consider the audience when you are preparing a speech especially when using rhetoric techniques. Your audience is listening and trying to be persuaded by the rhetoric techniques and if you aren't using ways that snag the attention of your audience the media piece will not be as effective.
