The importance of watching for signs of hyperglycemia.
The patient is receiving corticosteroid drugs for the Addison's disease treatment. One of the side effects that could occur when taking corticosteroids treatment would be hyperglycemia. The dose shouldn't need to be modified based on diet or exercise.
