1/4 = 2x
To solve this equation you have to move the X. To move the X you need to divide it.
So it's now 1/4 ÷ X = 2.

1/4 = 2x is equivalent to 1/4 ÷ X = 2 because when it's simplified it equals 1/4 ÷ X = 2.
