During Stalin's rule of the USSR, the military generals and the intellectuals in the country were all carefully selected and were all employed to spread out the communist (or rather the Stalinist) propaganda, and most of them were people that were gladly serving the 'great leader' and spread the propaganda and force people to accept it if they were not willing to do it.
