He used the National Guard to allow African American
students to enter the Central High School in Little
Rock, Arkansas. To achieve this,
Eisenhower federalized the National Guards who were being used by Governor Oval
Faubus to prevent them from entering the school. By doing so, Black students can now take part
in class.
